Request for Proposal for Audit Services

 

Rooftop of Virginia CAP is seeking Requests for Proposals (RFP) from licensed Certified Public Accounts to contract for a financial and compliance audit for the year ending June 30, 2019. The Offeror will also be responsible for preparing any required filings such as the Form 990 Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax, 5500 for fringe benefits (pension plan), and preparing the indirect cost plan.  Please separate costs for preparing the 5500 and indirect cost plan.  The proposal includes options for two additional years.  No formal bidder’s conference will be held.  However, staff will be available to answer any questions.  Small businesses and minority-owned businesses are welcome to apply.  The firm or individual representative must certify in writing that it is not been barred or suspended from doing business with any federal agency.

Solicitation of “Request for Proposal” for Roof Replacement

 

Rooftop of Virginia CAP, Inc. is soliciting “Request for Proposal” from qualified contractors for replacement of roof at main building located at 206 N. Main Street Galax, VA 24333.

 

The general scope of work for this project consist of, but, is not limited to the removal/disposal of the existing slate shingles and to replace with a 30 year architectural shingle, plus clean-up of job site. Cost over $2000 will require compliance with Davis-Bacon regulations. Proof of licensing and bonding is required, also proof that said contractor has never been suspended or debarred from working with the federal government. Please specify warranty information in the quoted price. The project must be completed no later than April 30, 2019. RTOV intends to award to the most responsive and responsible contractor on a fixed price contract for furnishing all materials, equipment, labor and supervision. Clean-up required to complete the work set out in this solicitation. No cost overruns allowed.

 

A meeting will be held at the Rooftop Main Office located at 206 N. Main Street Galax VA 24333 on Monday February 4 2019 any time between 8:00am and 10:00am so potential contractors can familiarize themselves with the existing site conditions. RFP’s shall be submitted in a sealed envelope to be received until Friday February 8 2019 at 12 noon, to the attention of Cliff Testerman, P.O. Box 853 Galax, VA 24333. RFP’s received after the stated closing date and time will not be considered. RFP’s will be opened on Monday February 11, 2019 at the Rooftop of Virginia CAP main office.
