This department helps families and individuals in the Twin Counties with many different services, including emergency assistance.
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)
Rooftop of Virginia CAP has been filing taxes free of charge for those earning under $65,000 annually for over a decade.
Senior Involvement
We provide a place for senior citizens to socialize, participate in activities, receive wellness checks and share a meal.
Whole Family Initiative
We help entire families, as well as individuals, in overcoming poverty. We feel the importance of aiding in the self-sufficiency of our community.
Responsible Oversight for Observed Family-time
The ROOF Program provides safe, structured, and child‑focused supervised visitation services for families with court‑ordered parenting time. Our trained staff offer a neutral environment where children can maintain healthy connections with their parents while ensuring everyone’s safety and emotional well‑being.
