About The Program
Quality Preschool for Ages 3-5. We offer a caring and supportive environment for our youngest learners to encourage healthy growth and school readiness.
Following Virginia Kindergarten Readiness Requirements and our own high-quality standards, we provide income-based childcare and:
- Fun educational activities
- Nutritious meals & snacks
- Qualified, nurturing teachers
- Family services
- Full year, Monday through Friday from 7:00a – 5:00p

Applications can be completed on site at 206 N. Main Street in Galax, all are welcome to apply.
Monthly copayments start at $0 for families with income at or below the federal poverty levels and increase as a family’s income increases. Mixed delivery staff will assist in determining the copayment rate when more than one child in a family is enrolled.
